Will the Montreal Canadiens trade Jake Allen this offseason?

Over the past four months there were quite a few exchange rumors floating round on which goalie the Montreal Canadiens will trade. Would or not it's Price or Allen?

If Carey Price is healthy the Habs will in all likelihood appearance to alternate Allen in the offseason. It is surely unsustainable to have $14 million of salary cap area or greater locked up in goaltending.

Price has said he does now not need to depart Montreal and he owns a no-motion clause.

Darren Dreger turned into at the Hockey Now Podcast and reported that there is substantial interest in Jake Allen across the league, and he turned into a surprisingly sought-after asset main up to the Trade Deadline.

If the Habs do determine to exchange Allen this offseason, he has 365 days left on his settlement with a cap hit of $2.875 million. Montembeault could take over because the backup to Carey Price.
