Avs goalie Darcy Kuemper is having an up-and-down season and the Avalanche simply would possibly make a Fleury exchange for an all-in run at the Stanley Cup.

Fleury, 37, has a cap hit of $7 million and owns a 10-team no-exchange clause, but if the Avs are fascinated, you have to assume Fleury will waive his clause to play for Colorado.
