While it has now not been made public via GM Kyle Davidson the Blackhawks appear to be they may be going through a rebuild. This scenario looks to have Toews question his future as a Chicago Blackhawk.
Jonathan Toews stated to Roumeliotis of NBC Sports that he in no way predicted leaving the Blackhawks company until after all the alternate cut-off date actions the Blackhawks have made.
Toews went on to say, you could’t help but picture your self and what it’d be like to play for any other group and what that experience could convey.
Toews does have any other 12 months left on his settlement with a $10,500,000 earnings cap hit. Right now, I am no longer positive that settlement is tradeable to a playoff contender next 12 months. We will should wait and see inside the offseason.
Toews became drafted third average by using the Blackhawks in the 1st round of the 2006 entry draft. Over a career that spans 14 seasons, he has a complete 841 factors in 996 video games performed, and 119 playoffs factors in 137 video games played.
