Will Anaheim make a trade for Andrew Ladd?
The Score: The Anaheim Ducks are looking for a big scoring winger to help out Corey Perry. Andrew Ladd could be the Ducks answer. Anaheim has ample cap room, a surplus of defensive prospects (or players as good as gold on the open market), and an obvious need for a winger.
Lightning want a top-four defenceman for Jonathan Drouin
The Tampa Tribune: Tampa Bay Lightning GM Steve Yzerman would prefer trading suspended left wing Jonathan Drouin by the February 29, 2016 trade deadline. Half the league is in on Drouin. Yzerman does not want prospects or picks, he is looking to add a top-four defenseman with a right-handed shot.
Senators looking to make a few trades at the deadline
Ottawa Sun: Ottawa Senators GM Bryan Murray said he’s not interested in adding a big-name rental player, “but if there is a player out there who could bring some immediate help, as well as be with us for a couple of years, I would certainly be open-minded to talking about that.” Murray is open to trading wingers Alex Chiasson and Shane Prince, along with defenseman Patrick Wiercioch.
