NHL News: Jack Roslovic signs two-year contract extension


exchange rumors floated round earlier this season that the Columbus Blue Jackets had been seeking to trade forward Roslovic at the NHL exchange cut-off date.

The rumors proved to be incorrect and the Blue Jackets have re-signed Roslovic to a two-yr settlement extension worth $8 million through the 2023-24 season. The settlement has a Jackets salary cap hit of $four,000,000 and does NOT encompass a -alternate clause.

Roslovic, 25, who is a Columbus-native posted career highs in 2021-22 NHL season with 22 dreams and 23 assists for forty five factors in 81 games.

Roslovic became drafted twenty fifth normal by the Winnipeg Jets inside the 1st round of the 2015 NHL entry draft. He has a complete 146 factors in 309 games played, and five playoffs points in 20 video games played.
