NHL Injury: Ryan Ellis out 4-6 weeks

Flyers defenseman Ryan Ellis anticipated to be out four-6 weeks with lower body injury. Coach Alain Vigneault said it will likely be rest and rehab. No surgical procedure at this point.

Ellis, 30, who lower back to the lineup on Saturday after being out some weeks with the injury, reaggravated it. The damage is thought to be a groin or hip damage.

The Flyers have plenty of younger talent able to replacing him at the moment. Defenseman Nick Seeler has stuffed in that role for maximum of the season and has achieved a decent job doing so.

If the Flyers feel the need to head the change route, there are rumors floating round that the Toronto Maple Leafs have Holl or Travis Dermott to be had for change.
