With the alternate rumors mill going loopy the day before today that Evander Kane should sign with the Edmonton Oilers after GM Ken Holland stated in his presser that the Oilers have contacted Kane.
Just because Holland stated they have been interested does not mean Kane will signal with the Oilers. He might see a higher hazard at winning a Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers or Maple Leafs.
Matheson of the Edmonton Journal reports if the Oilers do no longer signal Kane they must have a look at making a trade for Montreal Canadiens energy forward Josh Anderson.
Matheson went on to mention, Anderson isn’t reasonably-priced, would the Habs at least pay attention to a suggestion of a primary-round select in 2022, forward Xavier Bourgault and something else?
Anderson does personal an -team no-trade list and he is in his second yr of a -yr $5.five million in line with season deal.
